She's Walking

Yes I said it, she's finally walking, and we're so excited. It's been a long time coming, 14 months and 3 weeks to be exact. She's still pretty wobbly, but she can definetely go from one end of the room to the other no problems, she's just a very cautious little girl and wants to make sure she has everything perfect before going out on a big adventure.
Also, I wento to Calgary this past week/end, and had so much fun. It was a trip by myself to visit my brother who moved there in October, and to see my Uncle Mike's new pub; Mikey's Juke Joint & Eatery. I flew out on Thursday at 7:45 and had a rough flight - it was really bumpy and be being and HORRIBLE flyer, had kind of a hard time, but I did it and I made it. (and yes I'm aware it's only an hour flight)
The pub looked amazing, it was really rustic, and had jazz/blues posters everywhere, pool tables, darts area, it was awesome. I also went to the stampede, and realized that it's pretty much a place for drunk 18 year olds to go and get wasted, but the rides were fun nonetheless. Overall I had a really great trip, I had a blast with my brother and seeing him, got to hang out with my brothers really good friend and his family, and got to hear my Uncle Mike play on his "famous" saturday jam, and was completely blown away with how amazingly talented he is.

The week before, myself and my bestest friends mother in law threw her a baby shower. It was really fun to plan for the shower and get everything decorated. We had a ton of fun chowing down on some good food and playing some equally fun games. We took lots of pictures, and enjoyed celebrating Carleen's new soon to be baby. I'm guessing I'll probably have a little nephew. she's definetely going to have a little boy for sure, but others think girl.
