Words and More

Sorry, I haven't been up to blogging lately, but I've got a few new things to talk about! Two more days and Arianna will be 10 months old, which is then 2 months from 1 YEAR.Wow. She's learning so much and things are starting to change very quickly. She's pulling up on everything. She doesn't like the floor AT ALL, unless of course she's standing on it, hehe. This is a very hard stage for me as I'm SO paranoid and afraid she's constantly going to fall down. She has had a few bumps, but nothing major and I (err...she) pulled through! I'm not sure how long walking will be as she's quite interested, she loves coming towards you and standing there and then releasing her hands, not to her knowledge that she doesn't quite have the balance...and then...oops.
Also, she's quite the little talker, she now says Dad, Mama (Yaaa) except she hasn't said it in front of Michael yet (yes she's just like her father)There is cute story behind her saying Mama. My mom and I were sitting at her house and Arianna in her stroller, just eating away on some snacks, and I kept saying Mama, Mama; hoping she would say it, but instead she would just look at me and keep snacking, or do that little grin she does oh so well. And then finally I looked at her and said "Would you just say Mama already" and she looked and said MAMA. This is true, my mom was there to vouch for it. It was the cutest thing EVER. and I was so proud. Anyways, we also think she said Good Girl, but it's more in the phrase of Ggg Gggr!It really sounds like it when she says it, and she says it right after we say it.

As you know, if you read this blog she's quite the little constipated baby. Well we have now hopefully found a way to fix this problem. I took her to a pediatrician on Friday, and we discussed my little angel and her pooping problems... We are now fully changing her diet, as I and Arianna were stuck in a routine of getting up at night and having a bottle 2-3-4 times a night, which is just way to much. We're now cutting down completely and having none, and are now focusing on Solids, and not so much bottle. It seems to be working, (this change is also filled with a glycerin supp. in the morning, and continually taking 10ml of lactulose a day, until her little body is completely rid of all the POOP.. With this, she's (knock on wood) sleeping better. She still has 3 naps a day - but once she starts waking up a little later I'm sure that will quickly cut down to 2.
The doctor also weighed her again, she's now 19 pounds, and 31 3/4 inches.

P.S Her hair is growing quite fast, and now it looks like a permanent see through Mohawk with little bits on the side and lots at the back :)
