New Year!

Well, It's officially 2008! I can't believe it. First, it's been 7 years since I've graduated, I've gotten married, we bought a home, and had a baby. (NO, Not all in that order, but does that really matter, hehe)I'm so excited to start this year off. The last few years have been really hard for my family, so this year I hope it will be a little easier, and with a lot less disappointment, more good things happening in our lives than bad.
Last year was the greatest for me though, as I had my beautiful baby girl. How exciting. I've enjoyed every day with Arianna more than the last, it's so amazing how each day there is something new and exciting to watch. I'll admit it's not the easiest thing being a mother, but it's the most rewarding. When I wake up in the middle of the night with her and look at her my heart feels like it grows 1000 X's, it's wonderful. Ari, it now getting over having Bronchitis, she was quite the little trooper, but boy was it awful. The first 4-5 nights she did not sleep anywhere except my chest. As soon as she was put down in her bed she would instantly start crying; and that's after falling asleep on me. I had a humidifier in her room, the bed tilted and it seemed like the perfect place for her, but she just wanted to be with her parents. After the few days she started napping in there, but at bed time was still waking up ever 1/2 hour - hour, and would not sleep in there through the night.
She's now on Antibiotics which are helping and things are "starting" to get back to how they were before. She sounds a lot less raspy and coughy, and a little more giggly and happy. Thank goodness!
Also, she's a full fledged crawler now, but in her own way, she puts her hands in front of her and pulls her self around. Her legs are as straight as they can be, but boy she motors around.
NO, is a big word now. She's starting to hear that a lot. Especially when she's crawling towards the fireplace, and TV Stand. The funny thing is though, when you tell her no she looks at you and gives you this devilish little smile and turns right around to where we told her not to. It's too cute, but we go right back to NO.
Other news, I've started my healthy eating/diet for the new year. This is not my resolution, it's what I've wanted to do for a long time. I'm not 4 days in, and to some that doesn't seem like a lot, but for me I'm pretty proud of myself for sticking to something! We'll see how it goes, my goal is to be down 10 pounds by my birthday - which is April 25th, so my goal definitely should be reached. I decided to take it slow and if I lose it faster great, but I figure if I give myself time there's no reason for getting upset if I don't lose it right away. And, my resolution - corny but big for me; is to be more girly, hehe. Not more makeup, more this more that, but not being so plain. What I call, wearing girl shoes, and taking my hair out of a pony tail when I go out, little things like that. So, here's to that!
Also, I'm going to VEGAS again. But this time for my birthday. My sister-in-law Laura and I are going, and I'm very excited. It will be for 3 nights, but that's a perfect time as I'm not away from my little sweetheart for too too long.
Last but not least, Michael is leaving my for a few days this week, he's going on a business trip. I'm so proud of him. He gets to go by himself and have meetings and the biggest part is that he'll be in LA. Ahhh.
Anyways I know he'll do great, and it's only 3 days but I'll miss him soooooo much.
That's all for now,
Also, her teeth still have not come through, but boy oh boy is she teething. When will they come, I have no clue! Hopefully soon!
