Well the past month there has been a lot that has happened.
1. Arianna now has 6 teeth. Four on top, two on the bottom. They are just the cutest little teeth too, I can't believe how much they change the look of her face, she officially looks like little person.;)
2. She FINALLY rolled over from her back to her belly. And now, it's one of her favorite things to do. If you put her on her back, she'll sit there for a few minutes and then look at you like, NO WAY I'm to spin around, and so she does. And sometimes when she does this and lands on her belly she thinks, ewe I hate being on my belly and flips right back over. It's very cute to watch.
3. She's ready to crawl, except she doesn't. She'll lye there and lift her legs all the way up, and then her belly and then stop and think! Then she falls; and that's as far as we've gotten.
Although, she does have another way to motor around, by lying on her back she lifts her knees, and does three pushes as she's going backwards. It's too funny, and normally happens after bath time.
4. She's got a voice, and she knows how to use it! She babbles, and babbles and babbles, and then, she SCREAMS! Oh boy, these aren't screams of anger no, they are just high pitch "hey, don't turn your head away from me, or walk away from me" noises. It's really cute, because she's definitely got the attachment, down pat. She doesn't like it when Mommy or Daddy (mostly Mommy) leaves.
5. Peek-a-Boo is game of choice. She LOOOVES when I look at her, then hide and pop back up. In her exersaucer she'll be playing, and I'll crawl up to her and start talking to her and then all the sudden just drop to the floor so she can't see me. Then you can slowly see her making her way to the edge of the exersaucer looking for Mommy. Just as she gets to the edge I pop up and say PEEK-A-BOO and she just has the biggest smile/grin on her face. I love it.
6. Hates her car seat. (At least when I put her in there) She loves car rides and will most the time fall asleep within 15 minutes of driving. The car will always put her to sleep. EXCEPT, it's apparently quite the torturure chamber for poor Arianna.
But, when Michael puts her in there she's a little angel, no screaming no crying, no NOTHING. Man, do I feel like the bad guy. :(
7. Seems to love Christmas. YAY. She loves the tree and loves to sit and look at all the lights on it!
That's it for now,
Oh ya, I'm hoping she can wait for the crawling till after Christmas! We would totally be fine with that, hehe.
As of last night, December 10th, she now has 7 teeth. My poor little monkey! Hopefully soon, (after 8) she'll be done for awhile and can give her little mouth a rest
