My new favorite thing to do is talk with Arianna. Now, to all your non mommy's out there I know it's hard to believe that you can talk to a 3 month old, but honestly you can and it's the most precious thing you can ever do. Usually in the morning when she first wakes up and at night time just before bed is when she becomes quite vocal. I'll sit there and say mama in hopes that she will in turn blurt out a solid mama - like I said in my last blog when she cries there's a mama, now I just need her to speak the word mama. With that said she will mimic my voice and the way I am saying it as if she is saying it herself. She'll also copy the way your mouth is and coo. She loves to sit and also talk to my brother, which is adorable. As for Daddy - she'll just bat her eyelashes and stop whatever she's doing to look at him. He doesn't have to say anything he just has to look at her or grab her hand and she doesn't care who else is in the room. Michael says that when I leave the room she outright says "Hi Daddy" - I keep telling Michael - okay! it's obvious that her first words will be anything to do with Mommy. . . . Right????
Well, Grandma Baird bought Ari her first Exersaucer the other day - which is a 2 in 1 Exersauser and Floor Mat together. The floor mat is for newborns to 4 months and Exersaucer is 4 months to walking. WELL, here's me thinking that my little girl is above average and can hold her head up on her own and fit in there and have a great time. No, not quite I put her in there with my hand supporting her chest and KERPLUNK she falls right over, I guess her little head isn't quite ready to stay up. That's okay all my hard work of putting it together can wait a few more weeks until her head and body are ready to sit upright. :)
So, today is now Friday the 13th, 3 months from when I gave birth to my little Angel, and I can't believe how fast it has gone by. Now all those years of my mom saying you grow up so fast, it actually makes sense, because I can't even realize how quickly these 3 months have gone by.
I also can't imagine my life without Arianna, she is the most amazing gift I have ever had and I know all Moms think this, but it really is true. The Miracle of a child is wonderful.
Well, Happy 3 Months Arianna
P.S I'll post videos of Ari and I talking, once I figure out how to add video on here, or where to go on the net to find a video mixer.
